1st Annual CLU Relay For Life

American Cancer Society Fundraiser

Sign up now for the 1st Annual CLU Relay For Life taking place Saturday, Feb. 25, in Mount Clef Stadium. Opening ceremonies start at 9 a.m.

Relay for Life is a 24-hour team event to fight cancer. It raises awareness of cancer in our community and raises money to support the programs and services of the American Cancer Society. At Relay, teams of people camp out and take turns walking or running around a track to demonstrate that cancer never sleeps. Join one of the teams and participate with the CLU students. There will be a survivor and caregiver lap, "fight back" ceremonies and family games, movies, a luminaria ceremony and other activities. It’s 24 hours you’ll never forget.

Each year, more than 3.5 million people in 5,000 communities in the United States, along with additional communities in 20 other countries, gather to take part in this global phenomenon and raise much-needed funds and awareness to save lives from cancer.
