Chanticleer in Concert

Called “the world’s reigning male chorus” by the New Yorker and praised by the San Francisco Chronicle for “tonal luxuriance and crisply etched clarity,” this Grammy Award–winning ensemble has recently appeared in venues including New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, Walt Disney Concert Hall and six California missions, where it performed newly discovered music of the mission period. Tours of Europe this year included prestigious festivals such as Edinburgh, La Chaise Dieu, Bremen, Schleswig-Holstein and Rheingau, and renowned concert halls including the Musikverein in Vienna, Bela Bartok (Budapest), Concertgebouw (Amsterdam) and Philharmonic Hall of Vilnius. Also this season Chanticleer performs on the soundtrack of the 10th-anniversary release by Microsoft of its video game Halo.
