Break The Chains

Dance Against Violence

February 14 is a day to celebrate and savor love. It is also an international day to raise awareness and speak out against domestic violence of all kinds. People all around the world will gather on this day to dance and break the chain of violence.

Meet at the Enormous Luther statue to learn the moves and then dance together with the world to promote awareness about this important cause. We will be dancing to the song "Break the Chain" written by Tena Clark and Tim Heintz. No dancing experience is necessary. The choreography is simple and easily learned. If you would like, wear a CLU T-shirt and join in the dance against violence.

The dance at CLU will be filmed and sent out via YouTube as we join in this movement to raise awareness. Want more information? Please watch both YouTube videos below. The first explains the project and the second is the song and dance. You'll love both the rhythm and the message. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=isk2IPplDZY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fL5N8rSy4CU

Come. Raise your voice and move your body to break the chain of violence.
