Los Valientes

(The Courageous Ones)

Los Valientes

Based on the lives of three heroic Latinos, Los Valientes (The Courageous Ones) is a live musical theater production featuring a singer and an onstage trio of cello, piano and percussion. The show celebrates Mexican painter Diego Rivera, martyred Salvadoran Archbishop Oscar Romero, and Mexican-American outlaw Joaquin Murrieta, a historical figure who, some say, inspired the character of Zorro. The music ranges from traditional Latino folk and popular songs in Spanish to instrumental works by Latin American composers.

This event is free and open to the public. For the Samuelson Chapel location as well as public parking, see the CLU campus map.
