How Sustainable is Sustainability?

With an emerging consensus behind it, the goal of environmental sustainability informs public debate and is frequently proffered as a rationale for specific legislation and regulation.

This panel will focus on how implementation is faring, especially where specific metrics provide the basis for monitoring progress; what forms such systems of measurement take; and how viable and durable the systems are, based on experience to date.

The discussion will run from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
