Weather and dress

The service will be held outdoors, and though Kingsmen Park has much shade and usually a pleasant breeze, some seats will be in full sunlight. Water stations will be provided, but please dress lightly; bring head coverings and sunscreen if you need them, and come early if you can.

Parking and carpooling
The main parking area for the event is the CLU administration building parking lot on the southwest corner of Olsen Road and Mountclef Boulevard. Signs will direct you to the installation parking areas. We suggest that congregational groups consider carpooling.  If you will need disabled parking, please register your need here.

Food and drink
The service will be followed by an informal luncheon, also in the park, from about 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Please note: alcoholic beverages will not be available, and are not permitted on the CLU campus.

Entertainment program
During lunch, and until about 2:30 p.m., an entertainment program with music for listening and singing along will take the stage, featuring the staff of Lutheran Retreats, Camps and Conferences (LRCC) and the Bethel, Encino Praise Band.

As site hosts of this event and colleagues of Dr. Erwin, the faculty and staff of the University are very warmly invited to attend and participate in it.
