Thousand Oaks Reads, One City One Book

Cal Lutheran faculty members discuss the diverse themes of the Thousand Oaks Library’s One City One Book selection, News of the World by Paulette Jiles. The National Book Award Finalist for fiction tells the story of Captain Jefferson Kyle Kidd, who travels Texas in 1870 giving live readings to paying audiences hungry for news of the world. Copies of the novel are available at the Grant R. Brimhall and Newbury Park libraries.
