Faculty Recital: Adan Fernandez, organ

Cal Lutheran’s newly appointed campus organist, Adan Fernandez, presents a program of all Bach. Bach’s music transcends musical style into expressions of faith and theology. Works to be performed include the Passacaglia in C minor, Sonata II, Toccata, Adagio, and Fugue, and the Toccata and Fugue in D minor. The recital begins with a short lecture by Fernandez, who holds a doctorate in musical arts, on how the music of Bach connects to a life of faith.
