Snapshot: India

Dan Geeting, D.M.A., professor of music and Director of Instrumental Music at CLU, will introduce the fundamentals of Indian music. The presentation will include music and explanations of this unique style of music as performed at the International Clarinet Society in 2005. Dr. Geeting, playing the clarinet, will be joined by Aloke Dasgupta on sitar, and Joyce Geeting and Debashish Chaudhury, both playing the tanpura.
