Knowledge is Power: The Politics of Science and the Environment

Knowledge is Power: The Politics of Science and the Environment

This spring semester series of Teach-Ins is intended to create a forum for public education and discussion on the current political systems and issues that are dominating our country today under the new Trump administration.

The speakers and discussions are centered around three broad topics: The nuts and bolts of political process and civic engagement; immigration and refugee policy; and how politics meets science in our daily lives.

This is an hourlong open venue to discuss the implications of the new administration, bringing what we read in the news and learn in the class room into the public sphere.
