Dia de los Muertos social justice altars

Dia de los Muertos, also known as Day of the Dead, is a time for the dead to return home and visit loved ones. In their homes, family members honor the deceased with ofrendas, or offerings, which may consist of photographs, food, flowers, toys and other symbolic offerings placed on a ritual altar.

Come visit our altars with social justice topics relevant to contemporary matters. You can find them on the bottom floor of the student union for a week, starting Oct. 28.
