About this event

Board members are fiduciary stewards who steer the organization by adopting sound, ethical, and legal governance and financial management policies, as well as by making sure the organization has adequate resources to advance its mission.  By clearly understanding the roles and responsibilities of board service, board members can ensure that they and their peers abide by the highest ethical practices of governance, stewardship and oversight.  In this two-hour workshop with nonprofit legal expert, Roy Schneider, attendees will explore what every board member should know - the fundamentals of board service.
