In every organization there is the daily need to train and support our colleagues and teams. But giving a speech is very different than training people effectively. In this new workshop, hosted in partnership with Toastmasters International, nonprofit leaders will acquire new skills in assessing real-time learning needs & expectations, engaging and supporting effective learning environments, working with adult learners and designing and delivering training opportunities that foster behavioral change.
Topics will include:
- How to balance content delivery and interactivity to support learning.
- How to use case studies, role playing, demonstrations, visual aids and Q&A.
- How to foster and promote active engagement in the learning environment.
- How to support effectively the lasting change we hope to see.
This workshop has been designed by Toastmasters International and comes with a workbook for each participant.
