About this event

Power and Leadership are not one in the same. Join us for our July 2021 Nonprofit Leadership Council as we welcome Rebekah Harding, Principal of Clover Consulting, to reflect and discuss the role of power in inclusive leadership in our organizations. In what ways do you yield power in your organizational structure? In what ways do you empower yourself and others in your workplace? And how can we make intentional shifts from holding power over others to creating power with others in your team?

In this session we will work together to identify power in practice in our organizations and see how we can utilize the relationships and spheres of influence we currently have in our teams to empower ourselves and others.

Note: We’re going to play with the ways we understand power… come ready to journal, draw, and reflect!

Learn More About Our Presenter, Rebekah Harding:

Rebekah Harding has many talents, but her superpower is bridgebuilding. As the CEO of Clover Strategic Consulting, she helps transform museums and nonprofits into inclusive and equitable spaces, centering work on valuing people. Rebekah applies a systems-thinking approach, prioritizing how policies and processes interconnect from leadership down to ground level. She values transparency, curiosity, empathy, and action. Prior to consulting, Rebekah spent 10 years working in museum education and civic engagement in Los Angeles, CA. She currently holds leadership positions with the American Alliance of Museum’s Education Committee and the Museum Educators of Southern California.
