Simple Things You Can Do To Improve Your Family's Health
Good health involves daily choices and habits that contribute to your well-being now and for the future. We sometimes ignore the things that ensure balance and lead to good health. This presentation will highlight simple but important steps you can take to improve your health the health of your family members.
Cindy Keitel of Santa Rosa Valley joined CLU's Communications and Marketing Division in 2008. She previously worked in marketing and communication in the healthcare industry for 20 years, serving as associate vice president and director of Health and Wellness for Health Net. Keitel, who received her MBA from CLU, has served in leadership positions for the American Heart Association for 15 years and was honored as the organization’s 2006 Volunteer of the Year.
In the new position, Keitel will reach out to neighbors, community groups, elected officials and business leaders to identify more community needs that the university can address, from providing public speakers to filling seats on advisory boards.
Keitel works with non-profit organizations to increase the number of CLU staff and faculty members providing service in the community. Keitel also oversees neighbor relations, provides material for the university’s Neighbors and Visitors Web site and serves as a liaison for the CLU’s Community Leaders Association and other organizations.
