Culturally Relevant Practices at HSIs

We invite our dedicated faculty and staff to attend an engaging presentation with leading scholar in Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI) Dr. Gina Ann Garcia.

In this lecture, she will dive into the importance of becoming a Latinx-serving campus and how that essence can be transmitted through interactions with students.

Garcia motivates people to think critically about their roles in higher-education institutions and how to better serve Latinx students through tailored curriculum, pedagogy, programs, and services.
