CRLP Summer Literacy Workshop featuring 2015 Keynote Speaker, Dr. Steven Layne

The CRLP Building Bridges for Inspired Readers workshop at California Lutheran University offers a variety of topics for all educators. This one-day workshop from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. will be held on the beautiful main campus of California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks. Educators can choose workshop topics on read-aloud best practices, active learning, visual thinking skills, metacognition and inferencing, reading and writing instruction, and many more! Dr. Steven Layne is our 2015 keynote speaker. He will also lead a workshop on the power of read-alouds.
