College Men & Masculinities: Bridging Theory and Practice

Over the past two decades, the outlook on college men's success in higher education has often been characterized as a crisis. In particular, there has been concern about the experiences of men of color and queer and trans men's experiences in college, given their attrition rates. Additionally, colleges and universities themselves perpetuate specific notions of toxic masculinity. In this talk, Dan Tillapaugh shares insights from his newly published co-edited book, Men & Masculinities: Theoretical Foundations and Promising Practices for Supporting College Men's Development.
