Profile

Marc brings three decades' experience in financial services organizations (Bank of America, Washington Mutual Bank, and others) as a project manager, risk manager, compliance specialist, and instructor/recruiter.  Marc has also completed tours of duty in three Big 4 firms (PwC, KPMG, and Deloitte) and a sojourn in high tech in Silicon Valley.

Having completed projects across the United States and globally, Marc now brings his experience in finance and consulting instruction to California Lutheran University's Graduate School of Management.

Marc, his wife, and their two daughters are long-time residents of California.  Marc is active in the Triunfo YMCA and other local charitable and community organizations.

Expertise

Marc brings expertise in finance instruction, project and risk management, governance/risk/compliance (GRC), regulatory relations, and Program Management Office (PMO) to a number of financial services institutions, high tech companies, Big 4 firms, and at the university level, both domestically and globally.

Publications

Marc has penned treatises on model validation, collateralized debt obligations, risk management systems, and Basel II for financial services organizations.  Marc's training materials include An Introduction to Mortgage Finance.  Marc also has four patents with his project management team at Sun Microsystems (http://patents.justia.com/inventor/marc-d-moss).
