Health & Safety
We’re all in this together. Our safe return to campus relies on everyone taking responsibility and caring for each other.
Report a Positive Case
Anyone who tests positive for COVID-19, has symptoms or is exposed to someone with COVID-19 must report it as soon as possible.
Campus Compact
Every member of the Cal Lutheran community is called upon to sign this Compact knowing that as we each care for ourselves, we care for each other and our neighbors.
Vaccinations
Cal Lutheran will require all faculty, staff and students who are living, learning, working on or accessing campuses or centers for the 2021-22 academic year to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Face Masks
All individuals must wear face masks inside the Woodland Hills and Westlake Village centers. On the Thousand Oaks campus and other locations, everyone must wear masks in indoor public or common spaces. People who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 must wear face masks in all indoor spaces unless they are actively eating or drinking and outdoors if they are within 6 feet of others.
Contact Tracing
Contact tracing is the process of identifying an individual who has an infectious disease, and enables us to give an early alert to others.
Daily Health Check
Everyone must complete an electronic Daily Health Check each day before arriving on campus.
Testing
Find information about COVID-19 surveillance testing for residential and commuter students, student-athletes and coaches here.
Physical Distancing
Unvaccinated students should maintain a 6-foot distance from others whenever possible both indoors and outdoors.
