Athletics COVID-19 Testing
Welcome Incoming Kingmen/Regals,
We are so excited to welcome you here on campus! While this might not be exactly how you pictured the start of your collegiate career, we will do our part to make this the best experience possible given the circumstances by working to provide you with a return to play that is as safe as possible.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we will need you to provide the athletic training staff with proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test performed within the three to five days before your arrival. It is important to make sure that this is a PCR test, which detects genetic material of the virus using a lab technique called polymerase chain reaction, not an antigen test. The PCR test is required by Cal Lutheran.
Please bring a physical or digital copy of your test results to the athletic training staff located in the Hayashi Athletic Training Room, Room 174, in the Gilbert Sports and Fitness Center when you check in to get cleared on your arrival to campus. Enter the east double doors nearest the Samuelson Aquatics Center.
Thank you for your understanding! Please contact us directly at athletictraining@callutheran.edu with any questions.
