Forward Together

News from Hub101

Hub101, the community space for start-ups in the region, continues to breed success. Last year, several start-ups have received significant funding. For instance, PureSpectrum and Pray.com have received funding in the $1-2 million range, and Beyond Limits, a startup focused on the commercialization of AI technology developed at JPL/NASA, has closed a $20 million funding round. Alumnus Oliver Thornton continues to attract interest with his for-benefit start-up, Coding Autism, for which he has recently won a pitch competition at the Crowd Invest Summit in the LA Convention Center. Oliver also has been invited to participate in the finals of MIT’s SOLVE competition at the United Nations.

Hub101 is not only open to current students; it is open to the entire community along the Central Coast and, of course, our alumni! Please let us know if you are interested in getting involved!
