Forward Together

About PRME

PRME engages business and management schools to ensure they provide future leaders with the skills needed to balance economic and sustainability goals, while drawing attention to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and aligning academic institutions with the work of the UN Global Compact.

Launched at the 2007 UN Global Compact Leaders Summit in Geneva, the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) initiative is the largest organized relationship between the United Nations and business schools worldwide.

The mission of PRME is to transform business and management education, and develop the responsible leaders of tomorrow.

PRME at Cal Lutheran's School of Management

The School of Management vision guides us when we assign priorities for choosing what issues to address. Raising awareness about the importance of social responsibility and Triple Bottom Line accountability is an essential component of educating responsible leaders who are well prepared for making decisions in the complex global business environment. PRME provides us with a comprehensive framework for outlining our goals and developing a course of action.

Cal Lutheran's School of Management became a signatory of PRME in 2015. Read our PRME reports to learn more about our plans and accomplishments.
