Board Meetings Recap - Feb. 10

Senate

Feb. 10:
$8,100 were transferred from the ASCLU Senate Clubs and Organizations budget to the ASCLU Senate budget.
$281.03 were allocated for the purchase of two skateboard racks to be placed outside of select buildings around campus.
$5,200 were allocated for the purchase of installing window tinting in Mogen Residence Hall.
$9,426 were allocated for the upgrade of the Digital Signage on campus.

Feb. 24:
$540.29 were allocated towards the German Club.
$820.00 were allocated towards the Pilates Club.
$865.58 were allocated towards the American Chemical Society Club.

Megan Callery, Morgan McVey, and Ricky Hegner are working on a Senate tabling event on March 12th that will incorporate a suggestion box.

Alejandra Cueva is thinking of having Senate offer a scholarship to a club on campus.

Caleb Arndt and Daniel Aldrete are thinking about planning another Exchange for Change event. Also, they are looking into motorcycle parking on campus.

Joette Carini is thinking of doing a "meet and greet" event (maybe in coordination with the March 12th Senate tabling event).

Abel Cocos is looking into fixing the fire truck by the old pre-school.

Mike Frieda is following up with the recent allocation of funds to the library and crafting a resolution for policies in the apartment-style residence halls.

Courtney Sabile's lighting project in Kingsmen Park was recently completed.

Michelle Grawet is working on the laundry system, printers in Gilbert, and video surveillance on campus.

Cody Jones is working on allowing commuters access into the residence halls possibly by having commuters sign a contract.

Chelsea Gutowski is creating a survey for international students on campus.

Ryan Luchs is looking to improve the outreach efforts of ASCLUG.

Programs Board

The "Bomb Squad" Committee (Committe Chair: Jasmine Waples, jwaples@callutheran.edu) is planning a Drop In (April 11th). Location and time TBA.

The "Carlos' Gems" Committee (Committee Chair: Carlos Moran, cmoran@callutheran.edu) recently planned Club Lu: Pre-Valentine's Drop In.

The "Furious Flying Ferbees" Committee (Committee Chair: Laurel Skinner, lskinner@callutheran.edu) recently planned Mr. Kingsmen (February 21st).

The "Kuddly Koalas" Committee (Committee Chair: Ottilie Yee, oyee@callutheran.edu) is planning Club Lu: Field Day (March 7th), where students will be able to enjoy outdoor activities, food trucks (Tommy's & Chunk n' Chip), and prizes in Kingsmen Park.
