CLU was selected for the seventh consecutive year by The Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education as one of the best schools for Hispanics in the United States. The top schools were listed in the Nov. 18 issue of the magazine.
Inclusion in the list, which is published annually, is based on responses to a comprehensive survey as well as an examination of the literature and catalogs of more than 2,500 institutions. Selected schools have programs that offer "solid opportunities for Hispanic students."
Through a coordination of efforts in the Multicultural and International Programs Office, CLU students have an opportunity to participate in the Latin American Student Organization (LASO) and numerous cultural events such as Las Posadas, Dia de los Muertos, art shows and lecture series.
