U.S. Senator to Speak on Religion, Politics

The Rev. James T. Meeks, U.S. Senator from Illinois, will speak on "Do Religion and Politics Really Mix?" on Monday, Feb. 3, at 10 a.m. in Samuelson Chapel.

A national and international leader in social action and civil rights, he is also the first independent senator elected in the state of Illinois.
