• Artists and Speakers presents "Reevaluating the Renaissance: Honor and Violence in Late Medieval Italy" with Peter Sposato, assistant professor of history at Indiana University Kokomo, Fri., Nov. 30, 1pm, Ullman 100/101. Admission is free.
   
• Christmas Festival Concerts: Star of Wonder, Fri., Nov. 30, at 8pm. Sat. and Sun., Dec. 1 and 2, at 4pm, Samuelson Chapel. Wyant Morton and Yoshika Masuda conduct. • The Bachelor’s Degree for Professionals program will be hosting its 7^th Annual Holiday Toy Drive Nov. 26 – Dec. 7.  They will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for infants, children, and teens to be donated to KABC7/So. Cal Firefighters’ Spark of Love Toy Collection.  For those who prefer online shopping, click here to purchase from their Amazon wish list!  (Please be sure online orders will arrive by Dec. 3.) For your convenience, donation boxes will be located across campus at the following locations:

• College Administrative Fellowship Call for Applications – The CoAS Dean’s Office encourages eligible faculty and staff to apply for the Summer 2019 CoAS Administrative Fellows Program, a signature professional development program that focuses intentionally on developing academic administrative leadership skills. • In January 2019, Pearson Library will be launching a new database list. Faculty will now be able to sort databases by resource type and by subject, linking to other relevant subject resources in the process. Included with some of the database entries will be tutorials and power user tips (search strategies for more advanced researchers). The new database list is currently in beta testing, so there may be minor changes before it goes live for the entire campus in January. Faculty are encouraged to explore the new database list, and contact Meghan Johnson atmeghanjohnson@callutheran.edu with any questions or comments.
