  • 2019 Traditional Undergraduate and PROS Commencement Speakers: If you know a student who is scheduled to graduate in May 2019 who would do an excellent job sharing their story at Commencement, please encourage them to submit a speech no later than 5pm on Mar. 8.  The prompt is: How have your experiences at Cal Lutheran helped you on your journey toward discovering or strengthening your purpose and living a meaningful and impactful life?   • Grantwriting Academy: The next workshop in the Grantwriting Academy, titled "Who Will Fund My Project: Grantseeking Strategies and Tools," will help you explore funding ideas for your project or program.   • Theatre Arts Speaker Series presents: Conversations with...Kevin Pollak, hosted by Markus Flanagan (Theatre Arts), Fri., Feb. 22, 7pm, Preus-Brandt Forum. Admission is free.
     
  • Academic Difficulty Notices for Traditional Undergraduates: The official reporting period for Academic Difficulty Notices (ADNs) runs through Mar. 1. The goal is to have an early start in identifying the students who might be struggling. Please submit unsatisfactory grades for your students who are earning a C- or below through WebAdvisor by Mar. 1. Only one submission per student in a particular class is requested during this time frame. Academic Services will reach out to these students and offer support until the last day to withdraw with a "W" (April 11).
