- Grant Writing Lab (2-day intensive) - The Office of Sponsored Research and Projects is presenting a grant writing lab for faculty and staff on Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 26 & 27, 8:30am to 12:30pm, in Hum. 116. We will help you fine-tune your idea for a grant proposal for your program, project or research. - Interim Director, Office of Education Abroad
The Interim Director for the Office of Education Abroad, Mr. Brett Chin, brings 14 years of experience in the field of higher education, including five dedicated to education abroad. He most recently served as the Director of Programs for Linden Education Services in Costa Mesa, CA. Prior to his work in CA, he worked as an Education Abroad Advisor at Babson College in Massachusetts. Brett earned his Master of Education at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Marketing at California State University Northridge. Brett brings vision, passion, and investment to his work, merging a social justice and diversity lens with our study abroad programming.
- Assistant Director, Office of Education Abroad
During the past three years, Annelise Andrade, the Assistant Director for the Office of Education Abroad, has immersed herself in international education initiatives. After completing her M.A. in International Education Management at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, she moved overseas to work at the EUSA University Center in Seville, Spain. In 2018 she worked as a Study Abroad Advisor in the Annenberg School of Communications and Journalism at the University of Southern California. With “the genuine desire to design opportunities that positively impact the lives of future global leaders,” Annelise brings creativity, energy, and dedication to the team.
