Training Sessions for Faculty: The Digital Learning Department will continue to offer on campus and online (via Zoom) training for faculty through Fri., Jan. 15. Adequate steps will be taken to ensure all COVID-19 precautions are followed for all on campus trainings. Click here for more information and to RSVP. The trainings include:

  • Faculty Senate Meeting, Mon., Jan. 11, 3:30-5:00 pm, via Zoom. Please see this link for the agenda and Zoom information. The minutes from the Nov. 30 Faculty Senate meeting can be found at this link. The Faculty Senate is planning to meet the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month through the Spring 2021 semester. If you have any questions or comments about the Faculty Senate or its work please contact your Faculty Senate representative.
     
  • The School of Management Forward Together Webinar Series presents Aviation in the Age of COVID-19, Wed., Jan. 13, 12pm, via Zoom. Click here to register.
     
  • University Chapel, Thurs., Jan. 14, 11:25am. Throughout December and the first half of January, University Chapel will look different.  Each week, we will share a meditative reflection on one of the Psalms.  This will be a time to settle in, breathe, and contemplate.  We invite you to watch in community on facebook every Thursday at 11:25am or watch at your leisure. 
     
  • CTL Weekly Virtual Lunch Series, Thurs., Jan. 14, 12:15-1:00pm. The goal of the Virtual Lunch Series is to bring faculty together to collaborate and share pedagogy successes while teaching remotely. This is a space for you to bring your story, share your teaching creativity and get suggestions/recommendations from colleagues.   • January/February start dates for classes:

  • Academic Affairs Policies and Practices for Winter, Intersession, and Spring: Please read through the linked policies for Winter term, Intersession, and Spring. This document includes information on faculty handbook policies as they relate to the current situation, classroom practices, and COVID-19 protocol/reporting and sick time. Click here to view.
     
  • Save the Date: The Office of Sponsored Research and Projects is presenting a grant writing series for faculty and staff. The next workshop is titled Step One: Designing the Project. This workshop will be held virtually on Tues., Jan. 26, from 11:15 am to 12:30 pm. Click here to view the topics for the entire series and to register.   • Card swipe: All faculty and staff now have card swipe access to all buildings on campus. You will still need to complete the daily health check form before coming to campus each day.
