Planning Process

The Strategic Planning Team (SPT) designed the process and timeline for the creation of the Strategic Plan.  They developed outcomes for work teams and reviewed all input from the internal and external community.  They communicated with departments and colleagues regarding the Strategic Plan, and ensured broad communication and involvement throughout the planning process.  The SPT was responsible for drafting the plan by December 2011.

The SPT created a set of strategic priorities and work teams.

After reviewing reports from Work Teams 1-6, and reviewing comments from the Plenary Session at Professional Development Day, the SPT compiled the Key Topics that emerged.

The CLU Strategic Plan 2012-2017 was approved by the Board of Regents on May 11, 2012. The plan will be monitored on a regular basis by a Leadership Team.

Process & Timeline

Discussions about CLU's future took place with the Strategic Planning Team, the Strategic Planning Committee, and in a variety of work teams. This webpage describes the process and timeline for developing the 2012-2017 Strategic Plan.
