This fun and interactive session introduces students to careers in the biotech industry.
Most new medicines, diagnostics, and medical devices are discovered and developed by biotech companies. During the bootcamp, students learn about different areas of biotechnology and career options in the field, many of which do not require a PhD.
Students participate in a fun team project where they learn about the development of a major biotech or pharmaceutical product, device, or diagnostic. The event will also introduce students to graduate school options focused on biotechnology.
