Celebrating Black History Month: NOPE Screening and Discusson

NOPE, is somewhat revolutionary, in terms of film and how African Americans are represented. Often, African Americans are limited to a particular set of genres or sidelined as a secondary character, used to fulfill a stereotype. This film creates a space for Blackstories, in genres such as science fiction or fantasy.
Join us for a discussion on Black stortelling in film following the screening of Jordan Peele's latest film, NOPE.
