Holiday Doves of Love

The Holiday Doves of Love is a Christmas gift donation program. The way that it works is that there will be paper doves strung throughout the tree in the Student Union Building. Each dove will have a gift wish on it from a child of the Ventura County branch of Casa Pacifica. Casa Pacifica is a nonprofit that aides children and families who are going through very difficult life struggles and help bring joy and betterment to their lives. The gifts range depending on the child's specific wish. On Nov. 13th, the day that the SUB Christmas Tree is presented, the program will be officially introduced. There will be a sign-up form near the tree at the front desk of the SUB for people who are interested in donating the gifts. The gifts will be turned in to Madeline Liberti/Krystal Rhaburn/the Community Service Center Department of Student Life.
