GRIT Seminar
Have you ever heard of the term GRIT?
Angela Duckworth, a psychologist who has done extensive research on this, defines “grit” as perseverance and passion for long-term goals. Grit entails working strenuously toward challenges, maintaining effort and interest over years despite failure, adversity, and plateaus in progress. Did you know that grit is more important to your career success than intelligence or talent? Come discuss this topic and receive a free book and assessment test to see how gritty you are. We will also discuss how to get more grit and how your interests can lead you to a purpose.
This workshop is great for students who are not sure what career is right for them, or for those who are having challenges finding their purpose or choosing a major.
