Group Therapy

Groups are just as effective as individual therapy. There are no session limits for students participating in groups.

Group therapy provides a unique opportunity for people to help each other and gain support from each other. Sometimes the focus is on sharing common concerns, but the focus can also involve exploring personal issues and learning from each other. Group therapy helps people sharpen communication skills, gain personal insight, and connect more fully with others.

Drop-In groups are open to any student available and interested in attending. Students interested in joining Thrive groups at CAPS can call (805) 493-3727.
