International Research Opportunities

Research is a critical tool for successfully navigating our complex world.  International reserach opportunities can be embedded in your semester away, or be a stand-alone program. 

An important starting point for your research abroad is gaining approval from your Cal Lutheran advisors, when needed. Certain majors or academic programs may have limitations regarding where and how research can be completed. Once you have approval, consider what research you want to specialize in and when you'd like to go. One final piece of advice is to apply early – many research programs are competitive and will fill up quickly.
