Scandinavian Festival

Scandinavian Festival

Head down to Kingsmen Park for a taste of Scandinavia!

Festivalgoers can wander through an authentic Viking village, as well as a Sami sliddastallan, or community gathering. They can ask a rune reader for advice and visit Norwegian elkhounds.  Visitors young and old can create a head wreath decorated with flowers and ribbon and dance around the maypole.

Cooks will demonstrate how to make aebleskivers, leftse, krumkake and more. The Scandinavian food available in the food court will also include Swedish pancakes, Icelandic fish and chips, Viking dogs, Swedish meatballs and open-faced sandwiches.

Performers will include storytellers, Scandia and Swedish folk dance groups and the ABBAFAB tribute band.

The festival will run from 10 am - 5 pm on April 21 & 22, 2018.

Admission is $10 for Adults and $5 for Teens. Kids are free. Cal Lutheran Students FREE with ID.
