Pepperdine School of Public Policy Info Session

This event has been canceled for today due to an emergency concerning the speaker. We hope to reschedule soon. Thank you.

From 2011 to 2016, the State of California and many other parts of the American West experienced a debilitating drought. Snows came in the winter of 2017 easing the water concerns, but the damage was already done.  Rather than address the underlying problems to ease the pain for future droughts, California’s policy leaders chose to kick-the-can down the road.  Join Pepperdine School of Public Policy Assistant Dean and former Stanford University Hoover Institution Research Fellow, Carson Bruno, for a discussion on "The Importance of Policy Leadership” using California’s drought as a case study on why studying public policy for your graduate degree is more important today than ever before. Pepperdine strives to educate policy leaders for careers in the private sector, non-profit arena, and government. Come learn more about this Top 10 in West Master of Public Policy program.
