Natasha Gerdau ('05), Client Lead for Studio & Entertainment Advertising at The New York Times

As the Client Lead for Studio & Entertainment advertising at The New York Times, Natasha ('05) leads key account relationships that drive revenue through unique advertising & business partnerships across a suite of products including digital, podcasts, custom content, print, and events. Her clients include Netflix, NBCUniversal, MSNBC, Focus Features, Neon, A24, Bleecker Street, United Artists Releasing, and Comcast. She brings 16 years of experience working across companies such as Variety / PMC and Under Armour before joining The New York Times in 2016. When she’s not virtually networking and closing deals, she can be found “tapping it back,” at SoulCycle.

Tayler Schreiner ('15), Coordinator of Casting and Talent Relations for Disney Branded Television

Tayler Schreiner attended California Lutheran University 2011-2015 graduating with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and a Bachelor’s of Science minor in Business. Right out of college, she started interning at Disney ABC Television Group on their corporate events team. She met the Disney Channel casting and talent relations team through her internship, and the rest was history. She has been with her team, and the Walt Disney company for over five years now. Her current role is Coordinator of Casting and Talent Relations for Disney Branded Television, and she resides in North Hollywood with her best friend from California Lutheran University.

Nicole Mangona ('14), Content Producer at LinkedIn Learning

Nicole Mangona (’14) is a Content Producer at LinkedIn Learning, a product of LinkedIn and formerly known as Lynda.com. She collaborates with thought leaders and subject matter experts to produce online learning courses for career professionals. Prior to LinkedIn, Nicole was an eLearning editor at SAGE, an academic publisher, where she worked with subject matter experts to develop videos and online resources for textbooks. She comes from a background of journalism, eLearning, publishing, project management, and instructional design. Pre-pandemic, Nicole worked on LinkedIn’s campus in Carpinteria and now works from the comfort of Ventura. 

Matt Griffin ('91), Electronic Communications Supervisor for Evergreen Public Schools

Matt Griffin graduated from CLU in 1991 with a B.A. in English and minors in Religion and Coaching. During his time at CLU, he was Music Director and Station Manager for KRCL/KCLU and was one of the first CLU Writing Center Tutors. His first post-CLU job was as Promotions & Artists and Repertoire Coordinator for Tim/Kerr Records in Portland, Oregon. During his time at the independent record company, he signed noted alternative rock acts Everclear and The Dandy Warhols to their first recording contracts and worked with artists like Nirvana, filmmaker Gus Van Sant, and “Beat Poet” William S. Burroughs. After Tim/Kerr Records, he worked for 16 years as a News Producer for KATU television. He produced thousands of hours of live and breaking news coverage and was honored with a regional Edward R. Murrow Award for Breaking News Coverage, along with multiple Oregon Associated Press Broadcast Awards. He has interviewed a broad range of interesting people from U.S. Senators and NASA Astronauts, to numerous well-known film and music personalities. For the past six years, he has been the Electronic Communications Supervisor for Evergreen Public Schools in Vancouver, Washington. In essence, he is the Executive News Producer for the 6th largest school district in Washington.
