"International friendships"
My story is about a student who when I first heard she was coming was also going to work in our office and I would be her supervisor. She was coming from half way around the world from an island off the coast of Africa named Maurilias.
Wow, after finding this out I was so impressed that she would travel to a school only viewed from a computer to spend 4 years at. She ended up being one of my best student workers and would tell all students who got homesick of her adventure here.
This student not only stayed 4 years but ended up staying another. She also was a straight A student in the academics of that year and because of her, I feel that I have to keep the CLU family alive because we have become her new family and she will always be a part of mine and my CLU families. She is what I call a true CLU student and has encouraged other students from her country to attend and become a part of all of our lives.
