Whether you want to be an NCAA athlete or just get out and have some fun, there are plenty of options to stay fit.

Cal Lutheran students are active. They bike to class, hike in the hillsides, migrate to yoga classes. They play intramural football, basketball, soccer, softball and other sports. They're involved in clubs to practice fencing, lacrosse, Tang Soo Do and more.

Forrest Fitness Center

The spacious 9,500 square foot center is complete with state of the art equipment including free weights, weight machines, a resistance training circuit, and a newly updated cardio mezzanine.

Samuelson Aquatics Center

Samuelson Aquatics Center's 50-meter pool, diving well and diving boards accommodate competitions in swimming, diving and water polo at the intercollegiate and intramural levels.

The mountains and beaches of Ventura County offer limitless opportunity for outdoor activities. The Outdoor Recreation program at Cal Lutheran creates regular opportunities for students to travel off campus.

NCAA III Athletics
Football

Kingsmen and Regals

Cal Lutheran is a member of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) and the NCAA Division III. Over the last decade, Cal Lutheran teams have won 60+ SCIAC championships.

Fielding 22 teams, our newest addition is Women's Lacrosse, which started in 2020.
