CLU helped me find purpose. I graduated with my bachelor's degree some years ago now and I was hired to work at CLU. I began working with students and faculty and learning I could make a difference. The CLU community opened my awareness, embraced my talents and gave needed meaning to my life. I have met great people along the way and know my experience here has greatly shaped who I am. I know I have made a difference in the lives of people at CLU and in return the same has been given back to me. I believe this shows that CLU is more than just a "place"...it is a family, a community, and something meaningful to a great deal of people.
Tom tried something new- a business class. He liked it and did well.
Today, 37 years later, I still remember my arrival and do not regret it.
Working in a house supported the feelings of family among the faculty and staff.
Through my work, I now have the opportunity to give back to the CLU community and treat students, staff, and faculty as I was treated as a graduate student.
