The Three Musketeers (1921)

Fifth Annual Conejo Valley Film Festival

The Three Musketeers (1921)

The Three Musketeers is an American silent film classic based on the 1844 novel by Alexandre Dumas. The film was directed by Fred Niblo and stars Douglas Fairbanks as d'Artagnan. The athletic Fairbanks’ one-handed handspring to grab a sword during a fight scene in this film is considered one of the great stunts of the early cinema period.

The festival features movies filmed on location in the Conejo Valley. The series this year ties in with the 90th birthday party of Jungleland, celebrated at numerous events around the city of Thousand Oaks.

Admission is free. Additional films in the series will be shown in other Thousand Oaks venues.
