Cal Lutheran Global Engagement Fund

Overview

The Cal Lutheran Global Engagement Fund serves as a financial resource program to support international and US domestic students. The program is made possible by generous donors supporting Cal Lutheran student success. The program is intended to offer assistance to students in crisis or address financial needs in support of global education initiatives at Cal Lutheran. 

Eligible expenses include, but are not limited to, crises such as:
  • Income change (e.g., loss of job/sponsor, parents’ unemployment, etc.)
  • Home country challenges (e.g., warfare, government frozen bank funds, etc.)
  • Medical expenses (e.g., unplanned dental/vision care, accident, etc.)

Additional Details

  • Please allow 10 business days for the committee to review your form after submission.
  • Funds will be considered part of financial aid and applied through your student account. The funds will be distributed directly to you, unless specified otherwise.
  • Funds are not intended to be used for regular tuition and fees unless payment for tuition and fees are impacted by a documented emergency situation.
  • Although the Review Committee will give full consideration to the information provided, it is not guaranteed that it will result in additional funding.
  • This is a one-time gift to be used while pursuing your degree at Cal Lutheran.
