THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - On Saturday night inside the Lundring Events Center the Cal Lutheran Athletics Hall of Fame banquet and induction ceremony officially welcomed four new members among its predecessors. Athletes Darren Bernard ('91), Cindie (Jorgensen '88) Van Noy and Eugene Karimov ('00), along with former volleyball head coach James Park ('86) round out the 2010 class.

Darren Bernard - (1988-91)
The track and field star became the seventh individual inductee of the sport, doing so as a two-time first team all-American in the 400-meter dash.

Cindie Jorgensen - (1984-88)
The two-sport athlete excelled in volleyball as the Regals went 31-7 posting the most wins in program history, which still stands today. She was an NAIA all-American and member of all-District III and Golden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) first teams.

Eugene Karimov - (1996-2000)
A two-time NCAA all-American, he was part of a national championship tennis doubles pairing with teammate and fellow CLU Hall of Famer Mark Ellis. Karimov is currently part of the Kingsmen tennis coaching staff instructing a team that finished 19-3 and in the top-10 in the national polls

James Park - (1983-86)
The former CLU undergrad returned as the head coach of the women's volleyball program from 1993-2001. He took over a squad that had just three conference wins its first two year and posted a 5-7 mark his first season at the helm. The following eight seasons Park's teams won five SCIAC titles and finished as the national runners-up in 1995.

CLU Hall of Famer Hank Bauer ('76), who was part of the original HOF induction class back in 2003, was the Master of Ceremonies.
