  • Registration is now open for this year’s Association of Lutheran College Faculties conference at Concordia University Wisconsin, Sept. 30-Oct. 1. The presentation proposal deadline has been extended to June 15.  The theme is “Liberal Arts Education, Professional Training, and Lutheran Vocation.” The two featured speakers are Martin Marty, University of Chicago, and Scott Ashmon, Concordia Irvine. Early bird registration for the conference is $85 before Aug. 1, and the regular registration fee of $100 will continue until Sept. 6.   • Call for 2017-18 Travel Seminar Proposals-- If you are interested in submitting a course proposal for a Travel Seminar, the International Studies Subcommittee of EPPC would like to remind you that the CourseLeaf deadline is Sept. 1, 2016.  Please feel free to contact the Study Abroad Center at x3750 for more information about the proposal process.

  • 2016-17 Committee preferences for full-time faculty were due May 20. Please submit your preferences on the Faculty Governance Blackboard asap, so FEC can consider your request.

  • Full-time Faculty -  Faculty Annual Reports were due May 31. If you haven't done so already, please complete your report asap, so that we may include this information in the Faculty Accomplishments publication.   • Save the Date for Faculty Night at the Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival, Fri., July 15, Opening night of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Faculty members and a guest will be admitted free - children under 18 are always free at the Festival. Festival grounds open at 5:30pm, show begins at 8pm. Drinks and snacks will be served. Bring a low profile, low back lawn chair or blanket and warm outerwear for cool evenings. RSVP to Academic Affairs at acaffairs@callutheran.edu by July 6.
