| PB41B12 | Bylaw Amendment | Purpose: To amend the current bylaw to read: Section 10 Clubs, Organizations, and Publications 1.0 Allocation of Funds The ASCLU Senate shall have the power to allocate the Student Organizations and Publications budget based on budgets submitted to the Senate, and shall have such power necessary to invite members of the University community to present themselves before a meeting of the ASCLU Senate in order to investigate facts in any matter referred to that body. Senate is to provide leadership and fiscal responsibility of Student Organizations and Publications. Student Publications as a whole may only receive up to 50% of the Clubs, Organizations, and Publications budget. 2.0 Definitions Based on clubs regular activities, meetings, and budgets Senate has the power to define clubs as a club, publication, or organization. 1. Clubs and organizations- clubs and organizations are defined as a groups of traditional undergraduate students that are focused around a specific interest or activity. 2.
