New Venture Competition: Finals

The Cal Lutheran New Venture Competition (NVC) is an opportunity for students to experience the challenge of launching a startup business. Student teams have been working very hard on their business ideas for months, with the support of Cal Lutheran faculty and mentors from the community.

In the NVC Finals, four select teams will give presentations on the merits of their business opportunities. A panel of distinguished judges will ask questions, give feedback, and award cash prizes to each team. Audience members will vote for a special people's choice award.

Join us for what we expect to become a Cal Lutheran tradition and a launchpad for many successful startups.

Agenda:

4 – 5:30 p.m.: Student team presentations

5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.: Judges' deliberation and people's choice voting. Complimentary food and beverages will be served at this time.

6:30 p.m.: Award announcements
