About this event

This three-hour session will build upon the data and information available to organizations as they craft and refine their essential stories. Attendees will be encouraged to identify and develop their organizations best stories of their organizational founding, the impact of their work, their unique competitive advantage and their sustainability and stewardship of resources. Stories will be intended for multiple audiences – clients/consumers, donors and supporters, general public.

Tracy Hudak

As a consultant, TRACY HUDAK has over 20 years of experience facilitating organizational development, finance management, marketing and strategic planning for non-profits and for-profit enterprises. She has a special passion for catalyzing connections between creativity, community, commerce and place. She served as the Executive Director of the Bell Arts Factory in Ventura and the Arts Impact Director for Downtown Oxnard, writes on arts and creative economy issues for KCET’s Artbound, the VC Reporterand the California Forward blog, as well as having produced the Arts & Prosperity Candidates Forum for Ventura City Council elections in 2013.

Tracy is also an artist, writer, director and actress as well as the co-founder of two award-winning theatre companies in Los Angeles. She recently joined the faculty of the Center for Nonprofit Leadership, and is an instructor for Women’s Economic Ventures and the Center for Cultural Innovation. She served on the board of the Ventura County Leadership Academy and is a member of Toastmasters.
